Duplex Steel 2205 Plate have excellent resistance to corrosion and higher corrosion resistance than grade 316.The machinability of UNS S31803 is lower because of its high strength and cutting speed of this grade is 20% lower if we compare it with 304 grade. It is used in various application like processing equipment, oil and gas exploration, high chloride and marine environments, liquor tanks, paper machines etc.
