Duplex Steel 2205 Strip contains Ferrite content up to 63.54%., Chromium content up to 23 % and Nickel content up to 6.50%. Duplex Steel 2205 Polish Strips has the best corrosion resistance properties. Duplex 2205 alloy can be heated to harden further. It can be heat worked at a temperature of 1750 degree F to 2250 Degree F. Duplex 2205 alloy has the best corrosion resistance to stress corrosion cracking. Duplex 2205 is a ferritic and austenitic steel alloy—duplex steel 2205 Consists of high toughness and best welding properties. Duplex 2205 strip has the best corrosion resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. It possesses high tensile strength and yield strength properties—molybdenum and Nickel alloy in the purest form, which shows excellent corrosion.
Standard Specification of Duplex Steel 2205 Strips is ASTM A240 / ASME SA240. Standard is JIS, AISI, ASTM, GB, DIN, EN, etc. Width is 1000mm, 1219mm, 1500mm, 1800mm, 2000mm, 2500mm, 3500mm,etc. Thickness Is 0.3mm to 120mm. Chemical Composition of Duplex Steel 2205 Strips is as follows like Carbon is 0.030max, Manganese is 2.00max. Silicon is 1.00 max. Phosphorus is 0.030 max. Sulfur is 0.020 max. Chromium is 21.0-23.0max. Molybdenum is 2.50-3.50, And Nickel is 4.50-6.50. It also contains Mechanical properties such as Density content up to 7.8g/cm3. Melting point content up to 1350 degree C.Tensile strength Content up to PSi-116000 Mps- 800. etc.
